Today we’re exploring Trogir, another medieval town that sits on a small island, with a UNESCO-protected historic center boasting many Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period. After your guided tour of the town, we’ll stop at Diocletian's aqueduct, an ancient water supply system constructed during the Roman Empire between the 3rd and 4th century. Overnight in Split.
Because it wouldn’t be a trip in Dalmatia without an Adriatic adventure. Depart Split to spend the day on a boat ride to the island of Brač. Let loose on board and jump into the sea for a salty swim before stopping at the Stonemasonry School in Pučišća, an institution over 100 years old. Fuel up on a picnic lunch of fish or meat before heading back to Split to rest up for your final day.
